David Malati is a married man who is 48 years old and has two girls. David is currently working as a Physical Sciences Subject Advisor having worked as a teacher for 13 years.
David has the following qualifications; Bachelor of Arts (Human Movement Science) from the University of Zululand, Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE-Physical Sciences Education) from Natal University. Further Diploma in Education (FDE Educational law and management) from Potchefstroom University. Bachelor of Education Honours (B.Ed Hons in Mathematics and Science Education). Currently David is doing Masters in Education (M.Ed in Science Education) at the University of Zululand.
David’s work experience is as follows: Mathematics, Science and Technology teacher in KwaZulu-Natal Province at Mashalaza High School (1995-2006), Departmental Head (Mathematics and Sciences) at Mashalaza (2006-2008), Senior Education Specialist for Adult Education and training (2008-2010) in KZN province at uMkhanyakude District. Senior Education Specialist (Physical Sciences) at uMkhanyakude District (2010- to date)
David has worked as an examiner Natural Sciences in KZN province and at National level for Adult Basic Education and Training (2008-2011). He has also been an examiner for Physical Sciences in KZN province from (2010-2017). David also worked as a Chief Marker for natural sciences in KZN province from (2008-2011), he has also worked as an Internal Analytical Moderator NSC Physical Sciences (2016) in KZN Province.
