Kentse Mpolokeng joined is an Anatomy Lecturer at UCT and part of the new Generation of Academics Programme (nGAP). She was born and raised in Bethlehem in the Free State. She matriculated in 2007 from Ntsu Secondary School and began with her tertiary studies with the University of the Free State in 2008 where she had enrolled for Bachelors of Sciences (Human Biology) degree, where her love of the discipline of Anatomy began and continued to develop through her honours degree in Medical Sciences. Kentse continued with her Master’s degree in Medical Sciences: Anatomy and Cell Morphology which she obtained cum laude in 2017. She had earned an NRF Free-standing Scholarship for her Masters research and postgraduate bursary towards her studies. Shes currently enrolled for he doctoral studies at the University of Cape Town. She has got a passion for young peolple and enjoys giving motivation talks while sharing her love for science with them.
