The 2012 SAASTA National Schools Debates Competition kicked off in March this year with the Provincial Workshops held in each province, followed by the Provincial Competitions in May. It was decided that the overarching theme for the 2012 Debates Competition will be the same as the United Nations International Year i.e. International Year of Sustainable Energy for All.
