Attendees of the 16th Edulearn Conference in Palma de Mallorca discuss innovative educational strategies over lunch.

The 16th Annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies (Edulearn) is a prominent event that brings together educational professionals, academics, and researchers from over 70 countries to share innovative ideas and projects in education and new learning technologies. Representing NRF-SAASTA at this year’s conference, held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, was Mr James Tlhabane, who is currently a PhD student at Tshwane University of Technology and an employee of the NRF-SAASTA.

Tlhabane presented a poster titled, “Intervention Measures to Improve Learner Attitude and Performance in Physical Science.” His work focused on improving learner attitudes and performance in Physical Science by using teaching and learning strategies that help learners investigate relationships and solve problems in scientific, technological, and environmental contexts. The conference provided an excellent platform for discussing how these research findings could benefit communities worldwide. The proceedings and papers are published in the IATED Digital Library, contributing to a culture of learning, growth, and strategic collaboration.
