The programme is part of its Push Strategy in the CBE’s Skills Pipeline Framework which advances interventions and programmes for disadvantaged and rural schools in South Africa. The programme includes career awareness, maths and science, and life orientation teacher support, to mention but a few.
This event aligns to the key priorities of the CBE on the strategic areas outlined below:
a. Built Environment Education and Career Advancement
b. Research, policy, advocacy and transformation
c. Protect and Promote Public interest
It is a unique platform for educators, students, and industry professionals to collaborate, share knowledge, and showcase innovative projects and solutions. The Mangaung STEAM Expo will host 33 schools over three days – 11 schools (330 learners) will participate each day.
