The Science Library (SL) provides access to collections and services supporting research in the sciences including biology, chemistry, environment, geology, natural resources, physics and astronomy, physiology.
The Science Library is located on the lower level of the Cooper Science Complex, CN016.
Collections
- Find books, journals, videos and anatomical models by searching OneSearch or browsing in the Science Library.
- Find course reserve items such books, sample exams, articles, and lecture notes.
- Check out 3D anatomical models and charts for use in the library.
Services
- Work with Science Library staff (in person, online, or via email) for assistance in locating and using collections and other resources.
- Request an online or in-person extended research consultation with Kevin Brooks, Science Librarian.
- Consult research guides on a range of Science-related subjects.
- Schedule instruction or orientation sessions customized for your courses by contacting Kevin Brooks, Science Librarian.

- Visit and study in the Health Library spaces designed to meet your needs: comfortable lounge seating, tables for large projects or group work, quiet study space, and dual-screen workstations.
- Check out flash drives, headphones, chargers, and more.
- Use a wide variety of software on any of the dual-screen workstations
- Scan documents and course projects on regular, large-format and auto-feed scanners.
