Get to know schools in your area and use any minor fame you have amassed to get in. Know the teachers names, and revisit a couple of times. The hardest thing is making the first contact. The best thing to do is to ring up the science department and get speaking to whoever answers the phone. As soon as you know who you are talking to, ask if you can come in sometime that week. When talking to children, it is not what you say but the way you say it. Tell them why you think it is amazing and they will be amazed.
