Speak from your heart

Preparation is very important. But most importantly: you must be clear and if you do not know or are uncertain of the answers, just say: "it is not my expertise and I would hate to improvise an answer for you." Improvising an answer makes you look and feel amateurish and not very smart or in control of your subject.
Always remember to smile when you are being interviewed even if it is not TV. Smiling makes you more accessible and therefore the audience will feel comfortable to be interactive.
