Career guidance for grade 9 learners in partnership with SADTU
The primary aim of the career guidance is to offer learners a chance to make informed career choices
which will come as a result of the subject combination that they will choose looking at the careers they
want to follow. Most learners are not informed of the subject combinations that they must make in grade
10 due to a lack of career guidance offered by their schools and they are met with harsh realities when
they enter institutions of higher learning.
