Profile
Welcome to a glimpse into the land of Dumisile Litsa Masuku. She is a young visionary who is inspired by her roots and her desire to make a difference in her community. Litsa is a spiritually grounded Christian and fears God, she believes that she is called to a special assignment of leadership; hence she is currently working on establishing herself as a brand.
After she discovered her love for radio and using her voice as a powerful tool to narrate the stories of the voiceless, she went on to pursue Journalism at the Durban University of Technology.
Litsa holds a National Diploma in Journalism and has majored in online journalism.
She served her first practical training with the SABC digital news and is driven by a passion to stand out from the rest and not conforming to the class of the mediocre.
As a result she was one of two students who were selected to attend a Future Journalists Course (FJP) at Rhodes University. She was also the first news reader to hit the air waves of Radio DUT, a newly established campus radio in Durban University of Technology (DUT).
She listens to any spiritual music, she loves art, shopping and serving in church. She is a firm believer in the quote: ‘You are not powerful unless you empower’ by Juanita Bynum.
