Vanessa Phora

Vanessa Phora was born in Limpopo in a rural area called Kgobokoane. She started school at Kaitswe combined school and completed her matric at Ramatshagagala secondary school. She then enrolled at the University of Limpopo, where she obtained a BA degree in Communication Studies.

She is currently working as a science journalist intern for the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) at Motse Community Radio station in Limpopo.

She always takes any opportunity seriously, no matter how big or small it is. She stands up for any challenge that the opportunity might bring because she believes this is what builds a strong character.
